It does perform quite well. If you click on that arrow, you can expand this box (), which contains information, and it looks like this after you click on the button:

It is relatively simple, and achieves the desired result.

What you can do is hit the the buttons whenever you like; and it will say something, to stdout, including date and time, and they will show up the screen, because the've been captured. Hope you like it.
