| Description | A wrapper around Sundown, a Markdown processor written in C that is no longer maintained. It provides the ability to convert text from the Markdown format to HTML and XHTML. It implements many extensions to Markdown and includes SmartyPants, which translates plain ASCII punctuation characters into “smart” typographic punctuation HTML entities. |
