Working at Eurocontrol Maastricht UAC [1], the upper area air traffic control centre responsible for the European backbone air traffic over Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg and northern Germany. Team leader of the OPE/HMI team. Product owner of the Controller Working Position (CWP) subsystem [2], dealing with the interactive presentation of track, flightplan, conflict, coordination, weather and support data to the ATC controller.

Currently managing a project to design and implement an Air Traffic Control working position based on Tcl/Tk.

Married to Anne Rosa Wangnick (http://anne.wangnick.de), and sometimes helping her programming Feng Shui applications in Python.
