An HP-15C Simulator for Windows, Linux and Mac OS X edit
18.03.2018:Version 4.0.00, build 5811, of the HP-15C Simulator has been released. It has native support for Windows 32/64bit (XP, Vista, 7, 8, 10), Linux 32/64bit (x86) and Mac OS X (Intel/x86). The Tcl/Tk source code should run on all unixoid operating systems supported by Tcl/Tk 8.5.12 or newer.A few highlights of this release:
- Matrix support. This was the last missing HP-15C feature.
- Windows: A graphical display is used in case the HP-15C Simulator Font can not be installed.
- macOS: Native popup menus are used where possible.
- Documentation: Improved documentation dialogue with support for HTML tags and a preview mode
11.11.2015:Version 3.4.00, build 5544, of the HP-15C Simulator has been released. It has native support for MS Windows (XP, Vista, 7, 8.x, 10), Linux (x86) and Mac OS X (Intel/x86). The Tcl/Tk source code should run on all unixoid operating systems supported by Tcl/Tk 8.5.9 or newer.Some highlights of this release:
- Windows: Native 64bit version.
- DM-15 support: Bug fixes and improved handling.
- Documentation: Improved documentation dialogue and new options for the HTML export.
19.01.2014:Version 3.3.00, build 5403, of the HP-15C Simulator has been released. It has native support for MS Windows (XP, Vista, 7, 8.x), Linux (x86) and Mac OS X (Intel/x86). The Tcl/Tk source code should run on all unixoid operating systems supported by Tcl/Tk 8.5.x or newer.This release fixes some minor bugs, brings a reviewed and improved help and 20% faster program execution. Torsten Manz has written an HP-15C simulation entirely in Tcl/Tk.The latest version (1.2.10) of the simulator is available from the simulator home page [3].Since version 1.2.08 the simulator supports Windows Vista.The version available from "The Museum of HP Calculators" is still outdated.Torsten
