I am an experienced programmer but still a beginner with Tcl/Tk.

I use it primarily for writing small tools that want a GUI and want to interact with Unix programs, e.g. during installation.

Since I work with shrink-wrapped software I have to concern myself with handling stability and weird cases (e.g. why did exec foo fail).
