Festtcl is a Tcl package to interface to Festival, providing text to speech synthesis. Festtcl can output speech waveforms via the Festival server or can retrieve the waveform as binary data, which can then be output or manipulated with Snack.

Festtcl can be used as a standalone interface, but it was orginally conceived and implemented to work with agi, a Tcl interface for the Asterisk telephony server.
