Bioinformatics projects
I work in Bioinformatics and have made several applications in this field, that include a great deal of Tcl:
- GenomeComb
- a package designed for the analysis of complete genome data. It can be used to compare, annotate and especially filter the results of complete genome sequencing
- novoSNP
- finding SNPs and indels in resequencing projects
- RnaViz
- for drawing RNA secundary structure models
- DCSE
- multiple sequence alignment editor with structure information
Some as yet unreleased work or in progress
- pedviewer
- a tool for managing and analysing large pedigrees
- biotcl
I also wrote some internal applications (that will probably not be released) includes
- a LIMS system using tclhttpd
- pac
- automated analysis of STR genotyping
